New words! I'll say each one and you type your best try. No score, just your best try: lots of these words are brand new, so guessing is totally fine. It just helps the game pick what to practise first.
I'll say some words and you type your best try. There's no score, and it's totally fine to skip words you don't know yet: the words change as you go, so some will be new for everyone. It takes about 3 minutes.
Thanks! Now Word Blaster knows which words to practise first this week.
We found a good list to start with:
I'll say each word. You type it — no hints, just like the real test!
Remember: some words have a space or a hyphen (-).

Each week switches on by itself on its start date. Older weeks stay here for review.
Check each word against the paper. Fix any mistakes, untick anything that isn’t a spelling word, or add a missing one.

🟧 Orange = please check this word against the paper. Words without a ✓ won’t be saved.
Words your child typed that aren’t on the week’s list yet. Nothing here becomes a practice word until you approve it.
No school list yet, or a quiet week? Pick a built-in starter list: grades K–6, each one built around a single spelling pattern and written for Word Blaster. Your child’s real weekly school list always comes first: adding it switches the game over by itself. The 🧭 word check is gentle and optional (about 3 minutes): words are read aloud and your child types a best try, with no score, ticks or crosses. The words get easier or harder as it goes, then it suggests a starting list. Only you see the details here.
Each player has their own word lists, week planner, stars, play time, stickers and badges (kept separately on this device). Brothers, sisters and friends can share the device; each child only ever sees their own 🏆 My Bests, never anyone else’s scores.
Some kids like a quick, no-pressure try at the new words on the first day; others find starting the week with anything test-like stressful, so this is off unless you turn it on. When it’s on, the menu offers a 2-minute warm-up on the first day of each new week (once; “Later” hides it for the day). Each word is read aloud and your child types a best try. They never see a score, ticks or crosses: every answer just gets “👍 Got it, next word!”. Words they don’t know yet then come up more often in practice, and known ones a bit less.
Words from earlier weeks come back on a schedule so they stick: 1 day after learning them, then 3, 7, 21 and 60 days (a miss starts the word over). They’re practised in 🔁 Review 5 on the menu (up to 5 words a day) and never added to this week’s list or its stars.
When a word is missed, only the wrong or missing letters are highlighted and your child types the word again the right way. The letters that caused the slip (like ei in receive) are remembered and shown as a gentle hint next time, until the word is spelled cleanly twice in a row. The 🧩 Parts button splits a word into prefix, root and suffix (un · believ · able) with a short spelling tip. All of it is worked out on this device from a built-in table: nothing is sent anywhere.
A real treat and the goal that earns it. The player sees a progress bar on the menu.
Off = missed words stay on their own week (and in 🔀 Mixed review). Schools usually move on to the new words, so the new list stays small. Review words never count toward the new week’s goal or stars.
Put Word Blaster on this device’s home screen so it opens full-screen like an app. On ourmvp.app the game also saves itself on the device, so it keeps working without internet; progress syncs when you’re back online.
Never: last name, birthday, photos, voice, location or ad IDs.
Emails you a short summary of the week every Sunday. Off until you turn it on.
A teacher’s class card adds to a class. Only a first name and last initial are shared with that class.
Home practice stays at home.
